Jolla and SailfishOS
Sailfish SDK on Windows7 x64
I had a little trouble today setting up the Sailfish-SDK on a Windows7 x64 machine.
But you will find that the Jolla community is extremely helpful (if you ask nicely).
It spoils my personal "security concept" a little that you have to install the SDK in the host OS, since it uses a VirtualBox-VM as a preconfigured build machine (not a bad idea actually) and another one as a phone emulator.
What I find really nice is the integration of the VMs into the QtCreator IDE, used by the SDK:
- No "fiddeling" with files and build files.
- Once installed correctly, everything works out of the IDE - Nice!
